Oh heeeey! I’m back. Welcome to my shiny and fresh new website. After the rollercoaster ride that was the last couple of months in Shanghai, we made it to London, eventually found a house, moved in and then reality started setting in. I posted about the first few weeks in the UK on my old website, which I managed to delete during the migration from Bluehost to Squarespace, and this was before I thought to back-up all of my existing content. ROOKIE ERROR.

Had this taken place 12 months ago, I probably would’ve had a complete meltdown, but considering how many other things I’ve had to worry with since then, I’m really not phased. Learning how to “speak” Squarespace has been fun, so at least I’ve gained some new web publishing skills after deleting a website that literally took me weeks to build. Nope, still not going to get upset about it.

Moving to the UK has definitely given me a lot more freedom to expand my product offering, so I’m really excited about being in the position I’m in now to be able to do the things I’ve been wanting to do with Delicious Monster since around the middle of last year. Besides my recipe development and food photography, I’ve been dying to teach cooking lessons, and I’ve recently joined Thermomix UK as an Advisor, which I’m particularly keen on incorporating into my plans.

I know I’ve said this before, but I’m really going to do my best to publish more on the blog section of my site, especially when it comes to recipe and travel posts! We’re spending 5 nights in Paris next months which I’m so excited about, so I’m hoping we take advantage of how convenient travelling from here is. Besides all the amazing things to eat, do and see in Europe, we’re also planning on exploring the UK quite a bit. Watch this space!
